Fireside Folk Tales, A Christmas Carol

Fireside Folktales is the latest project from local, Barnes-based theatre company Shadow Road Productions, who specialise in bringing exciting pieces of theatre for all ages and occasions to unusual venues and spaces in creative new ways. They have continued that tradition with Fireside Folktales, retelling myths, legends and folktales from around the world, each presented as an original short play (30-60 minutes long) performed by a company of professional actors to audiences young, old, and inbetween.

After an extremely successful summer season, they are delighted to launch their winter production - Artistic Director Emma King-Farlow's inventive adaptation of Charles Dickens's festive classic A Christmas Carol. Over the course of sixty fast-paced, funny and moving minutes, you will discover whether or not he can redeem himself in time to enjoy a Happy Christmas!

- Date & Performance Times: Saturday 23rd November at 3pm and 7pm. Doors open 15 minutes before each performance.

- Length of Performance: 60 minutes without an interval. The cast will also be singing a few carols shortly before the performance begins, while audience members get their drinks and choose their seats.

- Tickets: Adults - £12.50; Children (under 16) - £10. Available in person from The Coach & Horses or online from www.ticketsource.co.uk/shadowroad
