Whether you’re prepping for the legendary office Christmas bash or a cosy, family get-together before the big day, we are officially the ultimate cosy – wonky pub in Barnes to celebrate this festive season (we’ve being doing Christmas since 1831 so we know a thing or two about a party)! Our mouthwatering, joy-filled festive menus (trust us, they’re perfect for all your holiday shindigs) are designed to delight even the pickiest eaters.
With our twinkling, covered, and heated pub garden hosting the best events in all of South West (humble brag), we’ve got a spot for you that’s just perfect for those chilly winter nights. Plus, our beautifully decorated Christmas tree (it’s kind of a big deal) creates the ideal backdrop for sipping mulled wine with your favourite faces. Just let us know your preferred date, and our merry band of Christmas elves (that’s Connor btw, what a guy) will take care of all the details (not to brag, but we can really do it all), ensuring a magical, stress-free experience for you and your guests.
The Stables
The Stables is a wonderfully tucked-away, all-purpose space (honestly, it’s a bit of a hidden gem), nestled right off the garden at the back of the terrace. It’s the ideal spot for all your festive occasions – whether you’re after an intimate, private dining experience with our delicious three-course festive feast (because who can say no to those belt-loosening roasts?) or a laid-back drinks party with festive sharing boards perfect for grazing and mingling. The Stables is the perfect setting for any celebration (and yes, it really can do it all!).

Garden Alcoves
Our Garden Alcoves are the ultimate cosy, toasty-warm hideouts (ideal for those snug, intimate gatherings) in our garden. Fully covered and with heating (so no chilly toes here!), they’re the perfect setting for laid-back Christmas drinks parties. Whether you’re catching up with friends or raising a glass to the season, our alcoves offer a festive, private little spot that’s just right for smaller groups (and they’re oh-so-magical, especially with the twinkling lights).
